Beschreibung:

the peugeot x005 introduces a new generation of car. the number 005 stands for an economic mid-range line, even lighter and smaller than the 105 and the 107.

the x005 is powered by a fuel cell system and three electric linear induction motors. instead of a steering wheel, the x005 is controlled by a drive-by-wire sidestick which guarantees a dynamic, pleasurable and relaxed driving experience. the car can either be controlled from the left or the right seat. all information is presented on three flat-screen displays.

the design of the x005 is clean and aerodynamicly optimized. this leads to high fuel efficiency. the low centre of mass guarantees great stability, even at top speed.
when in urban stop-and-go traffic flow, a tap on the touch-screen will make the car transform into a folded position. the driver and the passenger are lifted to a higher driving position, providing them with an improved field of view.
the folded position has two other great advantages. first, the wheelbase is short, allowing for increased agility as well as reducing the car's footprint for easier parking. second, the lifted seat position is very comfortable for access and exit.

the x005 is not a hp-monster, but a representative of a new generation of mobility. Let us face the future!
